I’ve been sewing custom jeans since 2013. Now, I want to pass on my knowledge to the next generation of makers. This apprenticeship-style internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the trade, offering a unique opportunity to learn and grow alongside me.

About the Program

The internship will introduce you to the world of jeans-making and beyond. You’ll gain exposure to:

Sewing and construction techniques
Denim repair 
• Production management
Pattern creation and refinement
Marketing and social media strategy

Who Should Apply

The ideal candidate is someone who:

Has a deep passion for denim
Possesses basic sewing skills on a single-needle machine (preferably industrial)
Communicates effectively and works well with others
• Has excellent attention to detail
Exhibits a strong work ethic and high-level integrity
Enjoys connecting with people
Can commute to Brooklyn, NY

A good sense of humor is always a plus!

Details

Duration: 2-4 weeks, 4 days / week
Compensation: The internship is unpaid. 
Long-term Vision: Internships can evolve into an apprenticeship who would gain a high level of denim knowledge, and is able to train future interns.
