We started FITTED Underground in 2014 with one obsession: to make better fitting jeans. Our aim has always been to offer the best fitting jeans at every price point.
Over ten years and thousands of fittings, we've learned that "the right fit" means something different for every body. So we built three ways to get there, all developed organically, and in the service of meeting our clients' needs.
Our product offering begins with ready to wear jeans starting under $200, custom size presents a cost effective approach to custom, and our top tier offers a fully bespoke service.

You pick the jean. We cut and sew it to your exact measurements - right here in our Brooklyn, NY workshop.
Our Custom Size options takes our ready-to-wear designs and allows them to be made to your measurements, not a size chart. The service is only an extra $100 over the RTW price, and it entirely removes fit as a barrier to getting you your perfect pair.

This is how it all started in 2014. sitting in a Brooklyn basement, cutting, sewing and finishing jeans one at a time.
With our bespoke service, you choose the fabric, thread, hardware and cut – and we bring it to life. Designed by you and built by us, from the ground up.
This is the most personal thing we make. It's a true collaboraiton between your vision and our craft. It's also the last pair of jeans you may ever want to wear.

Stop by workshop at 108 Bayard St. in Williamsburg. Eric, or a member of our team, will take your measurements - and take the time to answer every question you have.
Have a pair of jeans that fit your great? Bring them with you to cross check your measurements.
Appointments are free and take about 30 minutes. Our goal is to educate you about fit, fabric and finish, and have an awesome time doing it.

Live outside NYC but have jeans that fit great?
Drop them in the mail and we'll measure them for you. We'll even send you a shipping label after purchase for our domestic clients.
Need to review the fit together before sending them our way? Reach out and we will setup a video consultation.
Consultations, which are optional, normally take no more than 15 minutes. They can be scheduled online via our "Book a fitting" button or email.

DIY from anywhere.
Lay your best-fitting jeans flat and take eight key measurements using our guide. When you're done, save your measurements to your profile and we'll store them for the future.
Take all measurements on a hard, flat surface (table yes; bed no). Less stretch produces truer measurements. Use multiple pairs to "bookend" measurements.

We don't make fast fashion. We believe in slow fashion, and think it's the answer to the excesses in the fashion industry today. Every garment that leaves this workshop is cut and sewn by hand, in Brooklyn, by people who care about what they're making. The goal isn't a pair of jeans for a season, but for a decade.
