What began as a one man brand for a decade, FITTED Underground has evolved to be a Brooklyn-based heritage inspired workwear brand dedicated to craftsmanship and fit.
Q: What makes FITTED Underground different?
FITTED began to solve the problem of fit for us and our clients. We design heritage inspired goods with an aesthetic inspired by Brooklyn. Our pieces are designed to last decades, not a season.
Q: Where are your products made?
Our jeans, shirts and jackets are proudly made in our Williamsburg, Brooklyn workshop.

Q: What does “Custom Size” mean?
It means you get to begin with our ready-to-wear style and craft your own custom fit. You choose one of our core styles, and we tailor the measurements to your exact fit.
Q: What’s included in the Bespoke experience?
The Bespoke process is fully collaborative. You choose the fabric, hardware, thread color, and cut. We build each piece from scratch. The result is a one-of-a-kind garment made exclusively for you.
Q: How do I get measured for Custom or Bespoke jeans?
You can visit our Brooklyn workshop for an in-person fitting, or mail us your jeans or measure your best pair yourself. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if we can offer you help.
Q: How long does a fitting take?
15-30 minutes, depending on how clear the vision is.
Q: Do you make women’s jeans?
With our custom and bespoke tiers, we do make jeans for women. However, we have not introduced ready-to-wear styles for women … yet. Stay tuned.
ORDERING & TURNAROUND
Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
- Ready-to-Wear: Ships immediately.
- Custom Size: Typically 4 weeks.
- Bespoke: Around 4–6 weeks depending on design complexity.
Q: Can I rush my order?
Yes, we offer a rushed service for an additional fee. Rush requests do depend on our production schedule. We suggest reaching out before ordering to confirm.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We offer free global shipping on all order over $200.
MATERIALS & QUALITY
Q: What fabrics do you use?
We source from top-tier mills across Japan and the U.S. — including Collect Mills, Kaihara, and Vidalia Mills. Each fabric is selected for its weight, weave, and longevity.
Q: What makes Japanese selvedge denim special?
Japanese mills use traditional shuttle looms and slow weaving techniques that create a dense, textured fabric with unique fading characteristics — no two pairs age alike.
Q: How should I care for my jeans?
Wash denim inside out, in cold water. Tubs soaks are best to preserve the fit. Always hang dry; never put in the dryer. Water + heat = shrinkage.
FIT & SIZING
Q: I’m not sure what size I am. Can you help?
Absolutely. We’ll guide you through fit questions before you order — whether that’s by email, DM, or in person at our Brooklyn shop.
Q: What if my jeans don’t fit right?
For Ready-to-Wear, we accept exchanges on unworn items within 14 days. For Custom or Bespoke garments, we offer one round of complimentary adjustments if needed.
THE EXPERIENCE
Q: Can I visit your workshop?
Yes! Our Brooklyn workshop is open by appointment. You can try on Ready-to-Wear pieces, get measured for Custom or Bespoke, and see where everything’s made.
Q: Do you offer group fittings or private events?
Yes, we host fittings, workshops, and special events throughout the year, including whiskey tastings and denim education nights. Join our newsletter to stay in the loop. Or schedule a fit party with friends. Pizza and beer is on us.
